FUGE is a fictional design furniture retailer with a showroom in Leipzig's Spinnerei. It sells pieces from six small workshops between Copenhagen and Kaunas. Our concept study shows what such an online shop can look like: Statamic shapes the front end, while PrestaShop runs the catalogue, cart and checkout in the background.

What we designed
The joint as the core idea: surfaces meet along a narrow, visible joint. Archivo with its width axis, Source Serif 4 italic for accents and a palette of chalk, oak, graphite and red lead.
A dimension drawing for each of the 27 pieces. It is generated from the measurements in the shop, sets the piece next to a person or an A4 sheet and draws itself line by line as you scroll.
The collection as an index: categories with counts, shown as a grid or as a table with dimensions, workshop, delivery time and price. Pieces in stock and made-to-order pieces are kept clearly apart.
Six workshops, each with its own page: their story, key facts and their pieces, live from the shop.
A complete purchase: a slide-out cart, a three-step checkout, guest ordering and a customer account with orders and addresses.
