AI chatbots for website support

An AI chatbot answers recurring questions from your own content and hands over to your team when it cannot help.

Background

The bot is available around the clock. It needs verified content and clear limits.

How the bot answers

The bot uses retrieval-augmented generation (RAG). For each question, it finds relevant passages in your website, FAQs, manuals and product data. The language model answers from them and cites the source. If nothing fits, it offers contact with your team. The knowledge base updates automatically when your website changes.

Use cases

  • FAQ and self-service: Answers about products, pricing terms or processes.

  • Lead qualification: The bot asks about needs, timing and contact details, and logs the enquiry in your CRM.

  • Support triage: Collecting details before a ticket reaches your team.

We measure impact by questions resolved, handovers to staff and user feedback.

Compliance and security

The EU AI Act requires the bot to be labelled as AI. Models come from providers processing data in the EU, or run as open-weight models on your own infrastructure. Conversation logs are kept only for the agreed period. Guardrails keep the bot on topic and reduce the risk of false commitments.

From pilot to operations

  1. Define and clean up the knowledge base.

  2. Collect test questions from real enquiries, with expected answers.

  3. Pilot a limited topic area and evaluate the results.

  4. Widen the scope, monitor answers and maintain the knowledge base.

Conversations without an answer show which content your website is missing.
