Monitoring and uptime checks

Monitoring and uptime checks detect outages and bottlenecks before they affect your customers or revenue.

Early warning signs

Without monitoring, organisations often hear about outages from their customers. Many problems show early signs: full disks, rising response times, expiring certificates.

Monitoring scope

  • availability of key functions, from several locations

  • response and loading times

  • SSL certificate and domain expiry

  • CPU, memory and disk space

  • application errors, for example in forms, checkout or interfaces

  • backups and scheduled tasks

Alerting

Thresholds are set so that real problems are reported immediately and false alarms stay rare. Critical alerts reach our team and, if you wish, your IT department. An optional status page informs users during incidents.

Approach

Together we define the business-critical functions, such as checkout, log-in or the enquiry form, and check them specifically. Response times and responsibilities are set out in the contract.

Regular reports show availability and bottlenecks and help justify infrastructure investment.
