AI form analysis
AI form analysis shows which fields make users abandon a form and turns that data into targeted fixes.
Background
Forms are often the last step before an enquiry, application or purchase. The reasons people give up are usually small: an unclear required field, overly strict validation or a question asked too early.
Data we collect
Tracking runs at field level: first click, time to complete, error messages and the point of exit. What users type is never recorded. Session recordings and free-text feedback are only added with consent. Set-up runs through the tag manager and leaves your form logic untouched.
The role of AI
AI groups drop-off patterns, summarises recordings and sorts feedback by topic. The result is testable hypotheses, such as: ‘A required phone number causes drop-offs on mobile.’ You decide with us which ones to act on, weighing effort against expected impact.
Typical improvements
Fewer required fields, with optional ones clearly marked
Clear error messages next to the field
Long forms split into steps with a progress bar
Input aids such as address autocompletion
WCAG 2.2 AA: labels, a logical focus order and error messages for screen readers
The changes go straight into your system, for example Statamic, Laravel or Shopify checkout.
Measuring the effect
Each change is A/B tested against the previous version, with the completion rate as the measure. For low-traffic forms we compare periods before and after the change.
