Integrating ChatGPT into your CMS
ChatGPT and other language models become part of your CMS, ready for drafts, teasers, FAQs and meta descriptions.
Background
Many editorial teams copy text between their CMS and ChatGPT in a browser tab. Nobody then knows which data goes where or which rules apply. Inside the editor, guidelines, data flows and approvals are documented, which also settles liability.
Functions in the editor
Generating teasers, meta descriptions and social media copy from an article
Deriving FAQ entries from product information or manuals
Shortening, simplifying or adjusting the tone of copy
Drafting new posts from a briefing
Suggesting alt text and preparing translations
Technology
The functions appear as actions in the CMS fields, in Statamic for example in the Bard editor. Central prompts keep tone, form of address, terminology and length consistent.
Besides OpenAI, we connect Anthropic, Mistral or self-hosted models. The model can be switched later without retraining your team.
Control and approval
Through the API, providers such as OpenAI do not train on your data by default. Where necessary, data is processed in the EU. Role permissions control access, and the cost of each request is logged. Every generated text stays a draft until your team approves it.
Roll-out and maintenance
We start with two or three functions that save the most effort. After a few weeks, we review usage and quality and refine the prompts. Model changes, updates and optional editor training are part of our ongoing support.
